Some illustrations of one of my last illustrated books published in Spain. For this project, together with the editor, we thought of offering a different vision, avoiding the classic styles.
-Use of black line for coloring
-Drawing with structuring logic but inked with an asymmetric, illogical component, to create rhythms with whimsical, sinuous strokes, even something underground.
-Flat colors looking for their own harmonies for this book. and some gradients.
-Use of a texture to obtain a fresco or worn wall painting look.
The compositions consist of a central image that composes the rest of the elements in a set of warping lines and rhythms, with elements of fantasy or unreality.
